Yikes..

Apparently 3-0 leads aren't safe in any capacity. I could go on and on about how "now we know how the yankees feel blah blah" just as some backhanded quip to unload a little hatred for the spankees and deny our deep-seeded disappointment. But truly, this was an epic choke job on a whole other level. Never seen anything quite like it.

I would have been basically comfortable turning the game off and going soundly to sleep with about 5 minutes left in the 1st as the B's outplayed, outhustled, and outflew the flyers. Then one of the announcers had to go an say "ya know, the bruins have been outscored 8-3 in 2nd periods in this series..."

.. Then it happened, my heart sank a little, the thought of losing actually crept up.. rest is history.. the next 2 goals happened faster than a virgin swiping the V without a condom.. and the 4th goal was all but inevitable, especially once every single fan thought to themselves:
"Man, I'm so clever.. this game of goal-scoring is happening in the same sequence as the wins in this series.. I'm a regular fuckin Stephen Hawking."

Fuck..

But hey guys!! at least we have a high draft pick.. wait til next year!!!
