We Just Ruined A City...

Has there ever been a second round playoff with so many implications on an entire league?

I can't think of any precedence for this sort of fallout in any sport, any era.

Unfortunately the media will brush the defensive dominance, Rondo's astounding play, and the resurgence of the Big 3 under the rug entirely and just focus on what happened to Queen James. But frankly, I'm OK with that. Bottom line, we're going to Disney World tomorrow, he's going to Cleveland.

I'm still at a complete loss with LeBron's supporting cast. I know everyone expected LBJ to go forward with a stat line of 45-15-15 for the entire series, but the Boston defense made that impossible. What I can't believe is the complete inability for the remaining 11 players on the roster to put forth any true contribution, especially in the second half of any game that wasn't game 3. Mo Williams is a fraud, Antawn Jamison looks at KG the same way a young child looks at his drunk abusive father, and Shaq is the fattest professional athlete I have ever seen who wasn't an offensive or defensive lineman.

How did that team win 61 games? How did the rest of the league not figure out to do what Boston did? What am I missing here?

I'll give my two cents on the Orlando series tomorrow.. Another complete enigma.

PS If LeBron signs with the Bulls.. I will officially be terrified of the next 5 championships being won by Rose, Noah, Deng, Hinrich, and LBJ.. And that would happen, mark my words.
